Job Description

Protocol Education is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to work as a Teaching Assistant in secondary schools throughout the South Gloucestershire area.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise students' work and ensure completion to the best of their abilities
  • Manage student behaviour and maintain a positive learning environment
  • De-escalate conflicts and adhere to safeguarding procedures
  • Collect and return student work to the designated recipient
  • Report any safeguarding concerns using the school's referral procedures
Requirements:
  • Degree-educated or strong background in working with children and young people
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic school environment
