Job Title: Medical Movement Coordinator

Estimated Salary: £28,000 - £34,000 per annum

About the Role:

As a Medical Movement Coordinator with Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trusts, you will play a critical role in facilitating the smooth movement of patients throughout our hospitals. This dynamic role requires strong organizational and communication skills, as well as the ability to work effectively under pressure.

Main Responsibilities:

  • To coordinate patient movements between wards and departments, ensuring that all necessary information is communicated to relevant staff
  • To manage patient data and records, updating systems and reporting any changes or issues to supervisors
  • To liaise with clinical staff, dispatch teams, and other stakeholders to resolve any issues or concerns related to patient movement
  • To contribute to the development of policies and procedures related to patient movement, ensuring that they align with best practice and regulatory requirements
  • To participate in ongoing training and development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge in patient movement coordination

Requirements:

  • Significant experience working in a healthcare setting, preferably in a similar role
  • Strong organizational and communication skills, with ability to work effectively under pressure
  • First Aid Certificate/Basic Life Support Training (desirable)
  • Full Driving Licence (desirable)
