Job Opportunity: We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Tutoring Specialist to join our team at Ackerman Pierce. As an Outreach Tutor, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality educational support to students in a 1:1 setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver differentiated National Curriculum core subjects to students with complex and challenging needs.
  • Develop and implement effective behaviour management strategies to ensure a positive learning environment.
  • Work collaboratively with teachers and other support staff to provide comprehensive support to students.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of individualized education plans (IEPs) for students.

Requirements:

  • Background teaching in English, Maths, Science, or SEN classes ranging from KS1-KS5.
  • QTS status (or equivalent) or unqualified with two years' experience teaching NC core subjects.
  • Experience working with SEMH/ASD/EBD/SEMH and associated complex needs.
  • Two years' previous experience working within a UK school.
