Job Description
This role provides technical contract wordings advice and product development to support the company's strategies and growth plans. The successful candidate will review, draft, and negotiate reinsurance contracts, including inwards treaty reinsurance and retrocession contract wordings. Additionally, they will produce best practice reviews and guidance across the group to ensure clause and contract terms align with the company's risk appetite and strategy.

Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, the candidate should have extensive experience in contract wordings or as a qualified solicitor, preferably gained within a (re)insurance company or broking environment. Strong analysis and critical thinking skills, negotiation, and flexible interpersonal skills are also essential. This role involves working closely with the Group Head of Wordings to implement the wording strategy, supporting colleagues, and contributing to team objectives.
