About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Data Security Engineer to join our team at Rockstar Games. As a key member of our Application Security team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the security and integrity of our assets and data.

Key Responsibilities
  • Establish and Maintain Security Protocols: Develop and implement safety protocols to protect our assets and sensitive data from unauthorized access.
  • Stay Ahead of Emerging Threats: Track trends in the security community and stay up-to-date on emerging threats to ensure our security measures are effective.
  • Lead Security Assessments: Conduct thorough security assessments using manual and automated processes to identify potential security risks.
  • Collaborate with Engineering Teams: Work closely with our engineering and IT teams to design and configure secure solutions that meet our business needs.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  • Experience: 8+ years of experience in a professional capacity related to data protection or similar cybersecurity domains.
  • Skills: Extensive knowledge of defense mechanisms and techniques, experience with data access governance controls, and strong understanding of encryption technologies.
