Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Repairs Surveyor to join our team at Michael Page Property & Construction. As a Repairs Surveyor, you will play a crucial role in delivering maintenance services for our clients in the South London, Kent, and Sussex region.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the Senior Repairs Surveyor in managing responsive, cyclical, and major repairs for tenanted and void properties.
  • Ensure all maintenance activities meet Health & Safety standards and comply with relevant legislation.
  • Diagnose maintenance needs and verify the quality of contractor work.
  • Manage outstanding works and verify contractor value for money.
  • Conduct site inspections, update systems, and inspect completed repairs.
  • Handle customer complaints and feedback, ensuring a high level of service.
  • Undertake stock validation surveys and attend relevant meetings.

Requirements:

  • Strong understanding of building and health and safety legislation.
  • Knowledge of common procurement routes and contractor management.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
