About the Role

We are seeking a Credit Controller to join our team at Page Personnel Sales. As a key member of our Finance department, you will be responsible for managing the collection of outstanding invoices to ensure timely payment. You will also develop and maintain professional relationships with clients, prepare and present reports on collection activities and progress, and resolve queries both internally and externally around outstanding invoices.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the collection of outstanding invoices to ensure timely payment
  • Develop and maintain professional relationships with clients
  • Prepare and present reports on collection activities and progress
  • Resolving queries both internally and externally around outstanding invoices
  • Perform credit checks on potential clients and assess creditworthiness
  • Implement effective recovery strategies
  • Coordinate with the Accounting & Finance department to reconcile accounts
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations

Requirements

  • A degree or equivalent qualification in Accounting, Finance, or relevant field
  • Strong knowledge of credit control procedures and debt collection regulations
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Proficiency in using MS Office suite and accounting software
  • Analytical mind with the ability to make accurate mathematical computations
  • High level of professionalism and ethical standards
