Job Description
We are seeking an experienced and skilled Principal Instrumentation Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing technical expertise to support the design, installation, and commissioning of instrumentation systems. Your primary focus will be on ensuring that these systems meet the required specifications, are installed correctly, and operate efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide engineering input to estimates for project work scopes
- Participate in progress and planning meetings to ensure projects stay on track
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to specify modifications to existing equipment or purchasing new equipment
- Conduct site surveys on offshore or onshore assets as needed
- Produce calculations required for the role and participate in design reviews
- Check and approve discipline documents; complete interdisciplinary checking of documents where necessary
- Producerequisition - Bulk Bill of Materials for inclusion in work packs

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Instrumentation Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related discipline
- Minimum 5 years of experience in instrumentation engineering, preferably in the oil and gas industry
- Strong understanding of instrumentation systems, including measurement and control technologies
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
- Proficiency in software applications such as CAD, PLC programming, and data analysis tools
- Familiarity with industry standards and regulations, including API, ASME, and ISO
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines
