Job Title: Infrastructure Support Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Infrastructure Support Specialist to join our team at Tata Consultancy Services. As an Infrastructure Support Specialist, you will be responsible for providing 2nd and 3rd line technical support for our server estate, including Windows 2022/2019/2016/2012.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide technical support for server estate, including troubleshooting and resolving issues.
  • Manage deployments of new and updated applications and operating systems.
  • Use change, problem, incident, and release management toolset in accordance with organisation policies.
  • Leverage knowledge of server hardening, CIS policies, and vulnerability fixes.
  • Be aware of ITIL processes to follow guidelines in day-to-day activity.
  • Provide technical assistance, training, and mentoring of other technical resources.
  • Perform antivirus and security tools deployment and management.
  • Have basic knowledge of BMC monitoring.
  • Perform hardware blade, servers, physical servers' configuration and BAU support.
Requirements:
  • Experience with management of Windows desktop builds.
  • Knowledge of application packaging technologies such as MSI.
  • Hands-on experience on VMware infra design, build with HA, DR, VM deployments.
  • Knowledge of management of Anti-Virus and Patching Deployments.
  • Experience with Active Directory, especially Group Policy Management.
  • Experience of working effectively both individually and as part of highly productive teams in an Infrastructure/Application ITIL based support environment.
  • Attention to detail in all aspects of the analysis and ability to draw conclusions quickly in a limited timeframe.
  • Ability to balance multiple tasks without a negative impact on quality.
Good to Have:
  • Experience in software deployment technologies such as SCCM (desirable).
