About the Role

  • Deliver Engaging Lessons: Deliver engaging and differentiated Spanish lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, fostering a love of language and culture and developing students' communication skills.
  • Contribute to Curriculum Planning: Contribute to the planning and delivery of a dynamic and enriching Spanish curriculum that encompasses cultural understanding and communicative competence.
  • Employ Innovative Methods: Employ a variety of teaching methods and resources, including interactive technology, authentic materials, and cultural activities, to create a stimulating and immersive learning experience.
  • Support Student Wellbeing: Play an active role in the pastoral care of students, supporting their wellbeing and personal development.

Candidate Requirements

  • Qualified Teacher: Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a genuine passion for Modern Foreign Languages education.
  • Subject Expertise: Demonstrate a high level of proficiency in Spanish, with excellent communication skills and a deep understanding of Spanish language and culture.
  • Engaging Educator: Employ innovative teaching methods to inspire and motivate students of all abilities.
  • Collaborative Spirit: Work effectively within a team and contribute to the overall success of the Modern Foreign Languages department.
