About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Management Consultant to join our Energy and Utilities team. As a forecasting specialist, you will lead cutting-edge predictive modelling projects to optimize resource allocation, demand planning, leakage reduction, smart metering, and risk management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead complex data analysis to identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities in data to drive strategy and improve performance.
  • Develop and implement robust predictive models to forecast consumption patterns and optimize resource allocation.
  • Collaborate with engineers, operations specialists, and policy makers to harness data and transform it into actionable insights.
  • Oversee workstreams, projects, and programmes, leading the team to create impactful deliverables and deliver tangible results and business benefits for clients.
  • Apply agile ways of working and adhere to best principles of delivery.
Requirements
  • Strong analytical skills, with proficiency in statistical analysis and predictive modelling.
  • Technical expertise in analytics and data visualization tools, such as SAS, SPSS, R, Python, Tableau, and Power BI.
  • Problem-solving abilities, with capacity to translate complex data into actionable insights.
  • Adaptability and learning mindset, with willingness to continuously learn and adapt to new technologies, methodologies, and industry developments.
  • Communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to articulate complex analytical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Project management experience, with ability to lead and manage projects, meet deadlines, and coordinate with cross-functional teams.
