About the Role

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in servicing and maintaining heavy equipment, ensuring optimal performance and reliability in various construction and industrial settings.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs on plant equipment to ensure safe and efficient operation.
  • Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues, implementing timely and effective solutions.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to schedule and execute service activities, minimizing downtime and maximizing uptime.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to customers and onsite personnel, ensuring proper operation and maintenance practices.
  • Accurately record service activities, including work orders, inspection reports, and equipment documentation.

Requirements

  • Hold a NVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualification in Mechanical, Electrical, or Engineering discipline.
  • Have experience working with heavy equipment in a field service capacity.
  • Have knowledge of hydraulic, mechanical, and electrical systems on heavy equipment.
  • Hold certifications or tickets related to site machinery maintenance (e.g., CPCS, NPORS, IPAF).
  • Hold a driver's license and be willing to travel to customer sites as required.
  • Be provided with a van for travel to customer sites.
  • Be reimbursed for travel, accommodation, and meals.
  • Be offered a benefits package, including health insurance.
