Job Overview
Parkside Recruitment is seeking a highly skilled Senior Electrical Design Engineer to join our team in Oxford. As a key member of our electrical design team, you will be responsible for designing and delivering electrical systems for various projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct project surveys and feasibility studies to identify electrical system requirements.
- Design and develop electrical systems, including specifications and documentation.
- Oversee on-site work and manage electrical installations to ensure quality and safety standards.
- Manage contract administration and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Mentor and support junior team members to develop their skills and knowledge.
Requirements
- Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
- 3-5 years' experience in building services design, with a focus on electrical systems.
- Experience managing and mentoring team members, with a strong track record of success.
- Strong knowledge of electrical design software, including AutoCAD and Revit.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Own transport and a valid driving license.
Desirable Skills
- Experience with design and modeling software, with a willingness to learn and adapt to new tools.
- Knowledge of Revit and other building information modeling (BIM) software.
