Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Statistician to provide comprehensive statistical support to our research team. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in assisting researchers with study design, data analysis, and the communication of findings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Statistical Support: Provide statistical expertise to researchers, advising on study design, data analysis, and basic statistical methodology.
  • Data Analysis: Perform statistical analyses on project-generated data and assist in communicating findings in peer-reviewed publications or reports.
  • Standard Operating Procedures: Support the development and updating of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) related to data processing and statistical matters.
  • Research Collaboration: Contribute to the development of trial protocols, design of case report forms, and databases in a collaborative multidisciplinary environment.
  • Research Expertise: Provide statistical expertise to clinical and biomedical research projects, with a focus on low-resource settings.
  • Study Design and Implementation: Contribute to the design, implementation, and conduct of clinical trials and epidemiological studies.
Requirements
  • Education: Postgraduate degree in medical statistics or biostatistics, or equivalent.
  • Experience: Experience in medical statistics in applied research and epidemiological research, including sample size calculations, writing analysis plans, performing analyses, reporting, and interpreting findings.
  • Skills: Knowledge of medical statistics and epidemiology, statistical programming experience (e.g., SAS, Stata, R).
