Job Description

We are looking for a highly organised and efficient individual to join our Medical Equipment Libraries team.

The successful applicant will be responsible for managing a range of medical devices and responding to requests from clinical staff.

This role requires a practical and logical approach, with good communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Manage and maintain a range of medical devices in the libraries
  • Respond to requests from clinical staff for the loaning and collection of medical devices
  • Work effectively in a team to deliver the Medical Equipment Library service

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Qualifications: Essential - English and Maths grade C / level 4 or above or equivalent experience/qualifications
  • Desirable: NVQ level 2 or equivalent Manual Handling Training, Full Driving Licence
  • Experience: Essential - Experience of working in a stores or portering environment
  • Desirable: Some experience of medical equipment and working within hospitals on wards etc, Some experience of using Patient Management Systems within the NHS

Estimated Salary: £27,000 - £31,000 per annum
