Job Title: Commercial Finance Analyst

We are seeking a highly skilled Commercial Finance Analyst to join our team at Havas Lynx, a global advertising agency specializing in healthcare communications. As a key member of our finance team, you will play a crucial role in providing financial insights and support to stakeholders, driving business growth and success.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with internal agencies to develop and manage budgets throughout the year
  • Prepare and review month-end reports, focusing on Gross Income (GI) and deferred income schedules
  • Design and deliver finance inductions for new starters, ensuring a smooth onboarding process
  • Attend Senior Leadership Team meetings, providing analysis of previous month's performance and challenging future projections
  • Work closely with internal agencies to monitor WIP, financials, and client spend
  • Develop and maintain trackers for agencies, as needed
  • Produce ad-hoc reports for the team, network, and internal stakeholders
Requirements:
  • Qualified or part-qualified accountant with month-end experience, including accruals, prepayments, and management accounts
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain complex financial concepts to non-finance colleagues
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
