Acquisition Specialist

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Acquisition Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our procurement function, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth and seamless delivery of Assembly components and/or Buy/Resell products promptly, within Company parameters, and meeting Company targets.

The successful candidate will have 3+ years of purchasing experience in a similar role, with a strong understanding of MRP and ERP systems. They will be able to interpret technical drawings, possess excellent communication and negotiation skills, and be fluent in English.

Key Responsibilities:

• Interpret demand messages from our MRP and prepare and issue purchase orders by company policy
• Work with our Design and Engineering teams to manage new component quotations from suppliers to enable accurate quotations to customers
• Negotiate Terms and Conditions with suppliers within the company guidelines
• Develop good working relationships with suppliers to resolve issues in an efficient and timely manner and to actively seek improved service levels – cost, payment terms, lead times etc.
