About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Behavioural Mentor for Young Offenders to join our team at Vision for Education - Manchester. As a Behavioural Mentor, you will play a vital role in supporting young people aged 11-16 who are receiving their education in a Pupil Referral Unit setting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide guidance and support to young people in the classroom and with their social and emotional development
  • Work with young offenders and individuals with Social, Emotional and Mental Health issues
  • Develop and implement strategies to promote positive behaviour and improve educational outcomes
Requirements
  • Resilience and ability to demonstrate empathy
  • Passion for making a positive impact on young people's lives
  • Relevant experience working with young offenders and individuals with Social, Emotional and Mental Health issues
