Job Title: HGV Class 1 Driver

We are seeking an experienced HGV Class 1 Driver to join our team at J.J Freight and Logistics Limited. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently transporting goods across the UK.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Drive modern, clean, and well-maintained vehicles on a 5-day flexible shift pattern.
  • Collect and deliver goods to clients, ensuring all compliance measures are met.
  • Accurately complete relevant paperwork via our online app.
  • Ensure vehicles, consumables, and assets are clean and secure.
  • Act as an ambassador for J.J Freight and Logistics, providing excellent customer service.
Requirements:
  • Current and clean HGV Class 1 driving licence.
  • Driver Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC) with no current suspension or revocation.
  • Good communication skills and ability to manage own work effectively.
  • A positive and proactive approach to work with a clear customer focus.
  • No more than six penalty points and no DD, DR, or IN endorsements.
  • Hold a Digital Tachograph / Smart Card and right to work in the UK.
