Job Title: Senior Care Leader in Children's Homes

**Salary:** £37,000 per annum inclusive of sleep-in allowance (average 10 per month) + overtime at time and a third

We are seeking an experienced Team Leader to join our client's children's residential home. You will play a crucial role in supporting children and young people aged 6 to 17 who have experienced early life trauma, neglect, or abuse and may exhibit challenging behaviors.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan and oversee shifts with Residential Support Workers
  • Manage risks in accordance with company policies and procedures
  • Stay informed on current legislation, such as the Children's Homes Regulations 2015

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Level 3 Diploma in Residential Child Care
  • OR Level 3 Children & Young People Workforce Diploma
  • OR Level 4 Children, Young People & Families Practitioner (Residential Pathway)

You will also require:

  • At least 1 year of relevant experience in children's or young adults' residential care within the last 5 years
  • A full manual driving licence
  • A passion for supporting children and young people and a commitment to their development
  • Willingness to engage in ongoing professional development
