Market Risk Manager, VP

Citi is seeking a highly skilled Market Risk Manager, VP to join our Commodities Market Risk team in London. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing market risk exposure across Metals, EMEA Power & Gas, Softs, Exotics, and Oil desks, including trading of both physical and financial products.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in market risk management, with experience in Commodities or a related field. You will be responsible for monitoring and analyzing market risk exposure, performing independent analysis of large and complex trading structures, and leading medium-length global regulatory projects for the Global Commodities team.

We are looking for a candidate with excellent communication, influencing, and data handling skills, who can work collaboratively with the Trading desk and other stakeholders. If you have a strong passion for risk management and a desire to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, we encourage you to apply.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee market risk exposure across Metals, EMEA Power & Gas, Softs, Exotics, and Oil desks
  • Monitor and analyze market risk exposure, including legal entity and trading activity
  • Perform independent analysis of large and complex trading structures
  • Lead medium-length global regulatory projects for the Global Commodities team
  • Collaborate with the Trading desk and other stakeholders to ensure effective risk management
Requirements:
  • Strong background in market risk management, with experience in Commodities or a related field
  • Excellent communication, influencing, and data handling skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with the Trading desk and other stakeholders
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
