Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to support pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN) in a Chester area school. This is an excellent opportunity to work with Children with various additional needs in schools, providing day-to-day, short-term, and long-term support within school hours.

About the Role:

The ideal candidate will have experience working with SEN pupils and possess strong communication and interpersonal skills. As a Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with teachers and other support staff to provide individualized support to students with complex needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide academic and emotional support to students with SEN
  • Assist teachers with lesson preparation and implementation
  • Monitor student progress and contribute to planning and reporting
  • Foster positive relationships with students, teachers, and parents

Requirements:

  • Relevant qualifications and experience working with SEN pupils
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team
