Hgv Class 2 Driver Job Description

As a Hgv Class 2 Driver, you will be responsible for driving to planned collection locations and loading refuse into the truck. You will also assist with loading and unloading vehicles when required, complete daily checks of the vehicle as per our driver operator handbook, and use onboard technology to complete work notes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Driving to planned collection locations and loading refuse into the truck
  • Assisting with loading and unloading vehicles when required
  • Completing daily checks of the vehicle as per our driver operator handbook
  • Using onboard technology to complete work notes
  • Complying with all traffic laws and legislation, including security and weight of loads
  • Ensuring the carriageway is left in a clean condition and any spillages are cleaned up

Working Hours:

Monday to Friday, 6am to 2pm
