CNC Machinist

Our client, a leading electrical company, is currently seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join their team on a temporary basis. With a strong reputation for delivering high-quality products and innovative solutions, our client is committed to providing a safe and inclusive work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate CNC machines to produce precision components according to specifications
- Analyse blueprints, drawings, and sketches to determine machining operations and sequences
- Monitor the machining process to ensure accuracy and quality of finished products
- Conduct routine maintenance and troubleshooting of CNC machines
- Collaborate with the production team to optimise productivity and efficiency
- Adhere to all safety guidelines and procedures
- Keep accurate records of machine settings, production counts, and inspections
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a CNC Machinist or similar role in the electrical industry
- Proficiency in operating and setting up CNC machines
- Sound knowledge of machining principles and techniques
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on producing high-quality work
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot machining issues
- Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team
- Exceptional time management and organisational skills
- Flexibility to work on a temporary contract basis
Contract and Pay:
- This is a temporary position with the possibility of extension based on business needs
- Hourly rate: £15 to £16 per hour (depending on experience)
- Full-time working hours
