CNC Machinist

Our client, a leading electrical company, is currently seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join their team on a temporary basis. With a strong reputation for delivering high-quality products and innovative solutions, our client is committed to providing a safe and inclusive work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate CNC machines to produce precision components according to specifications
• Analyse blueprints, drawings, and sketches to determine machining operations and sequences
• Monitor the machining process to ensure accuracy and quality of finished products
• Conduct routine maintenance and troubleshooting of CNC machines
• Collaborate with the production team to optimise productivity and efficiency
• Adhere to all safety guidelines and procedures
• Keep accurate records of machine settings, production counts, and inspections

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a CNC Machinist or similar role in the electrical industry
• Proficiency in operating and setting up CNC machines
• Sound knowledge of machining principles and techniques
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints
• Strong attention to detail with a focus on producing high-quality work
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot machining issues
• Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team
• Exceptional time management and organisational skills
• Flexibility to work on a temporary contract basis

Contract and Pay:

• This is a temporary position with the possibility of extension based on business needs
• Hourly rate: £15 to £16 per hour (depending on experience)
• Full-time working hours
