Job Description: Quality Assurance Specialist - Materials

Tarmac Trading Limited is recruiting for a permanent Quality Assurance Specialist - Materials to join our Readymix Technical Team.

The role of Quality Assurance Specialist - Materials involves working on the testing of Readymix and developing products, both in the laboratory and on-site. You will be required to obtain samples from various locations, which is an essential aspect of the job.

About the Job:

  • The Quality Assurance Specialist - Materials will work closely with the Technical Manager for site testing, checking results, carrying out preliminary investigations into complaints, and providing technical information to clients
  • The role requires organising and undertaking technical testing to ensure test regimes and workload are met, comply with Company systems and resolve quality issues

Requirements:

  • You must have a full UK car driving licence with no more than 6 points as you will have a company vehicle for this role to visit sites business use only
  • PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
    • Five GCSEs (A*C / 9-5) including English, Maths, and Science
    • NVQ level 3 Technician or similar relevant in-house certification would be beneficial but is not essential

Estimated Salary: £45,000 - £60,000 per annum depending on experience.
