About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Audit Director to join our Financial Services team. As a key member of our audit team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality audit work that meets the needs of our clients and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead audit teams to deliver high-quality audit work that meets the needs of our clients and stakeholders.
  • Develop and implement audit strategies that meet the needs of our clients and stakeholders.
  • Manage and supervise audit teams to ensure that audit work is delivered on time and to a high standard.
  • Build and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders to ensure that their needs are met.
  • Stay up-to-date with changes in accounting standards and regulatory requirements to ensure that our audit work is compliant.
Requirements
  • ACCA/ACA/ICAS qualification or overseas equivalent.
  • Good working knowledge of UK and International GAAS, IFRS, UK GAAP and Financial Reporting requirements.
  • Working knowledge of financial products, firm services, issues regarding advice and regulation and compliance, including anti-money laundering.
  • Experience of systems/controls testing as well as substantive auditing, including consolidations, group audits, statutory accounts and disclosures.
  • Project Management experience.
