About the Role:

The Residential Unit Manager will be responsible for the day-to-day leadership and management of our residential community within the care home. This includes completing clinical audits, safe management of medication, and team member supervision.

About Goodwins Hall Care Home:

Nestled in a quiet area, our 76-bedroom care home is known for its beautiful fountain centrepiece at the entrance. We provide a variety of high-quality care, with a full activities schedule and amazing facilities.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Take responsibility for pro-actively managing the unit.
  • Ensure timely completion of monthly audits: medication management, pressure ulcer prevention, diet and hydration, and care planning.
  • Monitor the assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of residents' care through monthly audit of care plans using a planned approach.
  • Ensure planned supervision is carried out for all team members in line with company policy.

Training, Skills & Experience Required:

  • Minimum of two years' shift leadership and management experience.
  • Proven track record leading, empowering, supporting, and motivating a clinical team.
