About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Care Manager to join our team at Home Instead. As a Care Manager, you will play a vital part in ensuring that our clients receive the highest quality care and make a real difference for the older people we work with.
Key Responsibilities
- Work closely with the Director to coordinate the setup, growth, and development of a high-quality private domiciliary care service for older people in the local area.
- Network in the community to raise awareness of the service and promote the highest standards of care and service.
- Recruit and train Care Professionals to deliver exceptional care to our clients.
- Conduct risk assessments and ensure compliance with relevant legal and regulatory requirements.
- Manage a team to ensure that exceptional service is delivered to our clients and workloads are managed accordingly.
- Ensure the successful operation of quality control systems and perform quality assurance visits for clients.
- Continually review and improve our processes to ensure the most effective and efficient service is delivered.
- Effectively manage complaints and incidents, carrying out investigations and using findings to initiate improvements.
- Promote a positive culture in line with the Home Instead ethos and values.
Requirements
- Extensive care experience with excellent customer service and people management skills.
- Commercial awareness and strong influencing skills.
- Able to demonstrate achievement of business growth targets.
- Strong organisation and planning skills.
- Drive and motivation to take on a broad role and develop our care services.
- Able to work well and accurately under pressure while working independently with minimal supervision.
- Flexible to meet the demands of the business, including participating in an on-call rota.
- Possess a minimum qualification of NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care and be willing to work towards the NVQ Level 5.
- Hold a driving license and have access to a vehicle.
