About the Opportunity

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Automation and Process Improvement Lead to join our team at Marex Group. As a key member of our Finance team, you will be responsible for designing, documenting, and delivering solutions to automate and integrate acquisitions and new business streams into our infrastructure.

Responsibilities

  • Designing and documenting solutions to automate and integrate acquisitions and new business streams into our infrastructure;
  • Project managing changes, including creating and monitoring a go-live timetable;
  • Executing UAT testing on any system changes;
  • Delivering process changes into the Live environment, including training Finance staff where necessary, to take over BAU;
  • Ensuring compliance with the company's regulatory requirements under the FCA;
  • Adhering to the operational risk framework for your role ensuring that all regulatory or company-determined parameters are complied with.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years' prior experience gained within Finance, ideally Product Control/Projects within the Capital Markets product space (FX/IRS/REPO/Equities) but candidates with wider commodities or clearing backgrounds will also be considered;
  • Extensive experience in a Finance environment;
  • Extensive knowledge of Financial and Product Control in brokerage and commodity trading, and/or Capital Markets;
  • Advanced level Excel;
  • Excellent Project Management skills and communication skills (both verbal and written);
  • Experience working in a regulated environment and knowledge of the risk and compliance requirements associated with this.
