We are seeking a skilled and experienced Bar Manager to lead our bar team at The Retreat Elcot Park in West Berkshire. As a key member of our Food & Beverage team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring the smooth operation of our bar.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead and motivate the bar team to achieve high service standards
- Maximize customer focus during every service
- Ensure all bar team members are trained to company standards
- Motivate team members through incentives and competitions to maximize sales
- Stay up to date with menu knowledge and all menu changes
- Participate in the creation of wine lists, cocktail lists, and events menus
- Carry out periodic stock takes and place orders for all beverages
- Complete all rotas to provide cover for the bar in line with the wage cost budget
- Participate in regular meetings to maximize communication between all departments
- Handle deliveries and maintain the condition of beer and wine
- Maximize communication with the restaurant and kitchen teams
- Ensure all company rules and regulations relating to Hygiene, Health, and Safety are being followed
