Audit Services Opportunity
Audit Services at Northern Trust is seeking a talented professional to join our global team of experts in Credit Risk Management. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for assessing key credit risk management processes, including credit monitoring and ongoing review, counterparty stress testing, Current Expected Credit Losses (CECL) calculations, Single Counterparty Credit Limits (SCCL) monitoring, and Risk Weighted Assets (RWA) interpretations and calculations.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Assess and improve credit risk management processes to ensure compliance with global regulatory requirements.
  2. Collaborate with other teams in the Internal Audit Department to enhance our audit strategy and grow our credit risk audit coverage.
  3. Develop and maintain knowledge of credit risk management techniques and best practices.
  4. Provide training and knowledge share discussions to improve the department's skills and expertise.
  5. Assist in the end-to-end execution of audit engagements and provide high-quality documentation and assessments.

Requirements
  1. Expertise in credit risk management activities via working in the first line, second line, or third line at a global financial services firm or through a similar regulatory supervisory role.
  2. Skilled at confirming compliance with global credit risk regulatory requirements.
  3. Advanced degree in corporate finance, economics, mathematics, or statistics; or an accounting certification.
  4. Knowledge of auditing techniques and approaches in the financial services industry is an advantage.
  5. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment as part of a global audit team across multiple time zones and jurisdictions.
