Catering Apprenticeship at Worksop

We are seeking an ambitious and motivated individual to join our team as a Catering Apprentice. As an apprentice, you will be working towards a level 2 food production chef apprenticeship alongside qualified staff who will show you the ropes. You will have the opportunity to gain valuable skills and knowledge in the kitchen, including food preparation, presentation, and hygiene standards.

Busy Bees Education and Training is part of the Busy Bees Group, with nurseries throughout the country. We are also a sector-specific training provider in the care sector, specialising in childcare and catering.

Responsibilities:
- Assist the nursery chef to provide high-quality, nutritious meals and snacks in appropriate portion sizes and consistencies
- Accept deliveries and store away items following correct manual handling techniques and effective stock rotation
- Maintain hygiene standards in the kitchen, to meet internal audit requirements and ensure action points are addressed in a timely manner
