Job Title: SEN Teaching Assistant - Primary School

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team at Teach Now. As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting students with Special Educational Needs in a mainstream primary school setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support students with Autism and other SEND needs in a primary school setting
  • Work collaboratively with teachers and other support staff to develop and implement individualized education plans
  • Provide one-on-one support to students with complex needs
  • Assist with lesson planning and preparation
  • Monitor and record student progress

Requirements:

  • Experience working with students with Autism and other SEND needs
  • Strong knowledge of special needs, especially Autism
  • Previous experience as a SEN Teaching Assistant in a primary school
  • Able to set appropriate boundaries and manage behavior
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
