About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Clinical CAMHS Practitioner to join our Eating Disorder team. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will play a vital role in assessing and treating young people with eating disorders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide assessment and intervention to children and young people with eating disorders and mental health problems.
  • Deliver evidence-based therapies and provide consultation and support to front-line professionals.
  • Work collaboratively with families and other professionals to provide a comprehensive service.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders to ensure effective service delivery.
Requirements
  • Relevant professional qualification and registration.
  • Eligible to practice under the Mental Health Measure (Wales) 2010.
  • Postgraduate diploma or relevant knowledge, training, and experience in the specialist field.
  • Excellent knowledge of mental health problems and disorders.
  • Excellent knowledge of family dynamics and issues relating to working with families.
Desirable Qualifications and Experience
  • Additional formal qualification in a recognised therapeutic approach.
  • Specific, targeted, evidence-based interventions Maudsley manualised approach to Anorexia.
  • Formal qualification in a relevant field Child Development, Mental Health, etc.
