Job Overview:

Holt Recruitment Ltd is seeking a highly skilled Motor Vehicle Service Advisor to join their busy team in Dumfries. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified technician to work with a reputable main dealership, offering a competitive salary and benefits package.

This role requires a strong understanding of vehicle maintenance and repair procedures, as well as excellent communication skills to interact with customers and colleagues effectively. The successful candidate will be responsible for undertaking maintenance, service, and repair activities on motor vehicles to the highest standard, while maintaining efficiency and adhering to manufacturer's scheduled times.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years' experience working in a Dealership as a Technician and hold a valid Driving License. They must also possess excellent customer service skills, good technical knowledge, and the ability to work without supervision.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Undertake maintenance, service, and repair activities on motor vehicles to the highest standard.
  • Carry out all work completely and effectively whilst adhering to manufacturer's scheduled times to maintain efficiency.
  • Effectively record details of diagnosis, work completed, and components utilised in line with group and manufacturer standards.
  • Keep work areas clean and tidy, organised, and safe from hazards to health and safety.
  • Liaise effectively with colleagues and customers at all levels in a polite and efficient manner.

Salary: Up to £40,000 per annum.
