Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Fabric Technician to join our team at HVAC Recruitment. As a Fabric Technician, you will be responsible for performing various tasks related to fabric maintenance and repair in commercial buildings across York and Harrogate.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform planned and reactive maintenance tasks on fabric-related systems, including water temperature checks, tap flushing, and minor plumbing repairs.
  • Conduct joinery repairs, including fixing door handles and locks.
  • Carry out general building services tasks, such as cleaning and inspecting fabric-related equipment.
  • Work collaboratively with other engineers to ensure efficient and effective maintenance of commercial buildings.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Fabric Technician or in a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of fabric maintenance and repair techniques.
  • Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
