Corporate Governance Specialist

Kennedys is seeking a dedicated Company Secretary to contribute to their Risk & Compliance team. This role will focus on ensuring exceptional corporate governance across various locations and jurisdictions, collaborating closely with the Tax Team and the Senior Partner's Executive Assistant.
Key Responsibilities:
- Corporate Governance: Maintain strict adherence to governance principles and regulations in diverse jurisdictions.
- Board Support: Provide comprehensive support for board meetings, including meticulous minutes preparation and effective communication facilitation.
- Regulatory Compliance: Stay abreast of evolving regulatory changes and ensure all firm activities align with applicable laws.
- Company Policies: Develop and refine corporate policies to uphold the highest standards within the organization.
- Risk Management: Proactively identify and mitigate legal risks that could potentially impact operations.
- Corporate Records Management: Maintain accurate and organized corporate records for easy access and retrieval.
- Legal Compliance: Collaborate effectively with regulatory bodies to ensure ongoing compliance with all relevant regulations.
- Corporate Secretarial Services: Oversee essential corporate services such as mergers and acquisitions, ensuring smooth execution.
- Continuous Improvement: Continuously enhance governance practices to adapt to the evolving needs of the business.
- Training and Education: Deliver informative training sessions on corporate governance and compliance best practices.
- Administration: Update and maintain corporate documents and structures, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
Required Experience:
- ICSA qualified
- 5+ years of proven experience as a Company Secretary in a complex environment
- Experience working with partnerships and other diverse entity structures
- Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate and build strong relationships with stakeholders
