We are seeking a Graduate Civil Engineer to join our team at Milestone Infrastructure, a leading highways maintenance provider in the UK. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to learn and develop their skills alongside experienced engineers.

Job Description

This role offers a challenging and rewarding experience for a Graduate Civil Engineer. You will be responsible for managing engineering activities, including control, setting out, and providing direction to the workforce. Your tasks will include:

  • Assisting with survey and engineering control - checking sub-contractor and direct labor works;
  • Working with the Site Team to monitor HSEQ aspects of the project, including the Project Health and Safety File;
  • Keeping accurate records of site diary, works activities, resource allocations, and as-built information using AutoCAD;
  • Fully engaging with commercial team members to ensure project commercial procedures are followed.

The ideal candidate will possess knowledge of National Highways standards, such as the DMRB and MCDHW (preferred), as well as computer literacy with packages like Microsoft Excel, Word, and AutoCAD.

About You

To succeed in this role, you must have a BEng/BSc in Civil Engineering and a permanent Right to Work in the UK. A driving license is also compulsory. An offer of employment for this position will be subject to a satisfactory DBS check.
