Our client is a leading research organization, funded by the Department of Health and Social Care, with a mission to enhance the health and wealth of the nation through impactful research.

We are seeking a dedicated Portfolio Research Officer to join the Research Delivery team. The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  1. Overseeing the processing of studies for inclusion in the RDN portfolio, coordinating all stages from initial contact to study closure.
  2. Maintaining high-quality study information, identifying major issues and suggesting improvements in collaboration with Data Support Coordinators and Data Integrity Managers.
  3. Educating Chief Investigators and Study Coordinators on the importance of providing timely study information and recruitment data for the RDN Portfolio.
  4. Collaborating effectively with Data Support Coordinators, Portfolio Support Assistants, and the wider Research Delivery team to resolve problems and ensure timely responses to queries.
  5. Liaising with devolved administrations to facilitate effective communication between (England) and the Scottish, Welsh, and Northern Ireland Research Portfolios.
  6. Utilizing experience in research administration or a related field to drive research initiatives forward.
