About the Role

This senior position involves overseeing the daily operations of the Optical Department, including managing a team of Optometrists and Optical Assistants. You will be responsible for ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and driving sales growth through effective forecasting and target management.

You will work closely with an Optometrist to coach and develop your team members, focusing on customer satisfaction and delivering excellent patient care.

A key aspect of this role is time management and organization, as you will need to prioritize tasks and meet departmental targets.

Requirements
  • Fully qualified dispensing optician registered with the General Optical Council (GOC)
  • Strong leadership skills and ability to motivate a team
  • Commercial awareness and ability to drive sales growth
  • Excellent customer service skills and patient care abilities
  • Proven track record of meeting targets and deadlines
