About the Role

Buchanan Law is seeking a talented Structured Finance and Derivatives Lawyer to join their esteemed team in London. As a leading UK law firm, they are committed to delivering exceptional legal services to their clients and are constantly growing.

The ideal candidate will have 2+ years of post-qualification experience, exceptional academic records, and a background in structured finance and derivatives law, preferably from a top-ranked international firm.

Key Responsibilities
  • Advise clients on structured finance and derivatives transactions, including securitisations, structured products, and complex derivatives.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate structured finance and derivatives agreements and documentation.
  • Conduct legal research, prepare opinions, and provide strategic advice on structured finance and derivatives matters.
  • Collaborate closely with colleagues on intricate financial transactions.
  • Stay updated on changes in structured finance and derivatives law, regulations, and industry trends.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships through excellence in service.
Requirements
  • England & Wales Qualified lawyer with 1-3 years of post-qualification experience.
  • Exceptional academic records, preferably from a top-ranked international law firm.
  • Background in structured finance and derivatives law, with a focus on securitisations, structured products, and complex derivatives.
  • Strong drafting and negotiation skills.
  • Outstanding analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
