About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team on a daily supply basis. As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will work with children with Special Educational Needs (SEN) in a variety of settings, providing support and assistance to students and teachers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide individualized support to students with SEN, including those with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD), Speech and Language difficulties, and Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD)
  • Assist teachers in the classroom, including preparing materials, supervising students, and providing feedback
  • Participate in playground duties and other school activities as required
  • Collaborate with teachers and other support staff to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with SEN
  • Communicate effectively with students, teachers, and parents to ensure a smooth and supportive learning environment
Requirements
  • Experience working with students with SEN, preferably in a school setting
  • Strong knowledge of SEN and its impact on students' learning and behavior
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced school environment
