Job Summary

Outsource UK LTD seeks a Quality Engineer to fill a critical role within the BAE Systems' team. Based in Rochester, this position entails reviewing and creating First Article Inspection Reports, analyzing complex drawings, and generating written reports and presentations.

Key Accountabilities:

• Conduct thorough reviews of First Article Inspection Reports according to AS9102 Rev C.
• Analyze intricate mechanical drawings to identify key details.
• Compile comprehensive written reports and presentations with impeccable accuracy and clarity.
• Support quality assurance processes through efficient non-conformance management.
• Facilitate effective quality investigation.

Essential Skills:

• Adept understanding and application of ISO 9001/EN9100 standards.
• Robust comprehension of Business Management Systems, Operational Framework, and Operational Assurance processes.
• Strong analytical skills for interpreting specifications, procedures, and contractual requirements.
• Established experience in creating and reviewing FAI's to AS9102 standards.
• Quality Assurance expertise and familiarity with EN9100 (AS9100) and APQP/PPAP to AS9145 would be highly beneficial.

Compensation: £21.73 PAYE or £28.67 Umbrella hourly rate.
