About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Team Leader to join our team at York House, Shrewsbury. As a Team Leader, you will play a vital role in overseeing the day-to-day running of our service, supporting our staff team and the individuals we support.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the staff team and individuals in achieving their goals and aspirations
  • Oversee the day-to-day running of the service, ensuring high-quality care and support
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve excellent outcomes
  • Develop and implement person-centred care plans
  • Contribute to the development of the service, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes
Requirements
  • NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care or willingness to work towards this qualification
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience working in complex care
  • Experience in team leading or working in a senior support worker role
  • Strong understanding of person-centred care and co-production principles
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Reliable, compassionate, and dedicated to improving the lives of individuals with complex needs
