Job Description: Head of Regulatory Affairs and Packaging

The Trade Association Forum Ltd is seeking an experienced Head of Regulatory Affairs and Packaging to lead on all matters relating to packaging regulation. The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring legislative and regulatory activity at Defra, the devolved administrations, and EU Commission Regulations. This role requires a high level of organization, discipline, and professionalism, with the ability to work accurately to demanding timeframes.

Key Responsibilities:
* Monitor and analyze legislative and regulatory activity at Defra, the devolved administrations, and EU Commission Regulations.
* Develop and implement effective strategies to address regulatory challenges and opportunities.
* Manage the Corrugated Council, comprising CEOs from the Corrugated converter Member companies, including administration of Board meetings, preparation of all associated papers, and implementation of Board decisions.
* Lead the Packaging Regulatory Committee, made up of the technical and regulatory leads from CPI Packaging membership, working closely with the Chair of the Corrugated Council.
* Foster strong relationships with industry stakeholders, including Corrugated Council and Packaging Regulatory Committee members, to retain and build their confidence in CPI to represent their interests effectively.
* Collaborate with industry trade associations to promote the benefits of packaging.
* Possess experience with regulatory matters, preferably in the packaging industry.
* Demonstrate a commitment to Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion.

Requirements:
* Proven track record of leading regulatory affairs and packaging initiatives.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to communicate complex ideas effectively.

Salary: £75,000 - £95,000 per annum.
