Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled FLT Operative to join our team at SYNETIQ Ltd. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient movement of vehicles and parts within our premises.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Move vehicles off and on storage racks as requested, using stands where necessary
  • Transport vehicles, parts, and equipment between storage areas and other parts of the premises
  • Ensure a continuous supply of vehicles for de-pollution, dismantling, or other operations as required
  • Assist with stock rotation, moving vehicles to accommodate new arrivals or fill gaps in storage racks
  • Conduct periodic stock checks of vehicles on storage racks
  • Load and unload vehicles onto transporters for distribution and store them in designated areas
  • Occasionally dismantle parts as requested
  • Support the fulfillment of export orders as needed
  • Accurately complete paperwork and electronic records on time
  • Provide cover for other duties as required

Requirements:

  • Full driving license
  • Experience working outdoors in various weather conditions
  • Ability to record vehicle damage accurately and clearly
  • Experience with forklift operation (onsite training provided)
  • Teamwork and communication skills
  • Attention to detail and basic IT skills
  • Desirable: previous experience in a salvage site and knowledge of motor vehicles
