Job Title: Automation Engineer - Automatic Gate & Barrier Specialist

Company Overview:

Our client is a well-established automation company with over 30 years of experience in the industry. They are currently seeking an Automation Engineer - Automatic Gate & Barrier Specialist to join their growing team on a full-time, permanent basis. The company specializes in the installation, maintenance, servicing, repair, and fault-finding of automatic gates and barriers.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Fault-finding and troubleshooting on different security systems
  • Provide high-quality work and ensure customer satisfaction
  • Communicate effectively with clients and the administration team
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations and professional standards
  • Work closely with team members and assist in training junior engineers
  • Willingness to travel around London and the South East


Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years' experience working with automatic gates (sliding, swing, revolving) and car park barriers, bollards, or similar equipment
  • Full UK Driving Licence
  • Knowledge of security products from manufacturers such as FAAC, CAME, BPT, BENINCA, and Parking Facilities
  • Strong communication skills
  • DHF Gate Safety qualification (desirable but not essential; company will provide training)
  • Ability to self-motivate and work with a positive attitude
  • Comfortable traveling in and around London on a daily basis
