Payroll and Financial Expert

West Chester Township seeks a skilled Payroll and Financial Expert to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of payroll, including processing bi-weekly payroll, pension reporting, tax reporting, auditing, record maintenance, and ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations. The ideal candidate will possess excellent organizational and communication skills, be detail-oriented, and have the ability to handle multiple projects within tight deadlines.

Requirements:
  1. High School Diploma or equivalent
  2. 3+ years' experience in Human Resources or Finance
  3. Proficient knowledge of employee relations, compensation management, timekeeping, and union contract application
Preferred Qualifications:
  1. Prior experience in Local Government Payroll
  2. Use of payroll system, preferably Munis/Tyler Technologies
  3. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  4. Completion of an HR Certification or Payroll Certification
