Job Description:

  • This role involves working as an experienced teaching assistant in a well-resourced school for pupils with special educational needs (SEN) in Watford.

We are seeking a dedicated individual to provide individualised support to pupils 1:1 or in small groups, assisting in creating an inclusive learning environment.

The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of experience in similar roles and be able to work effectively with pupils who have Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), challenging behaviour, and Down syndrome.

Responsibilities:

  • Providing tailored support to meet the unique needs of each pupil.
  • Collaborating with teachers to develop effective strategies for supporting pupils with complex needs.
  • Maintaining accurate records of pupil progress and contributing to regular reviews.
