East and North Hertfordshire NHS Trust is committed to providing high-quality care to our patients and communities. We are seeking a Risk Management Specialist to join our team and play a key role in ensuring the safety and well-being of our staff, patients, and visitors.

About the Role:

The main duties of this role include:

  • Undertaking and providing support to all areas of the Trust in the development and implementation of uniquely complex Health and Safety risk assessments and its process to identify hazards and advice on remedial actions to be taken
  • Working on own initiative to make judgements and decisions and take any necessary action in relation to Health and Safety issues in line with associated legislation, direction, and Trust policy

We require someone who has breadth and depth of Health and Safety knowledge and experience, as well as practical experience of monitoring construction activities. You will need to be able to demonstrate an ability to manage and influence difficult situations where there are competing and/or conflicting views and requirements that may impact on health and safety issues/concerns.

The estimated annual salary for this role is £60,000 - £70,000.
